Welcome to the home of USMC modeling on the web

USMC amphibious operations in WWII have long been a fascinating subject of great historical significance and interest to me. The men, vehicles and their blunt and bloody battles against the Japanese all through the Pacific, have been neglected and remain unknown in the modeling world. This is about to change! With the launch of this website and the start-up of the Hard Corps Models (HCM) line of products, modelers will now have the opportunity to learn about and build accurate models of many of the USMC vehicles. All of the products in the HCM line are produced in limited numbers with the idea of producing 100-200 units of a new product and then moving onto the next release. We are set up to sell all of our products through this website using Paypal. Paypal is a very convenient and widely used secure online payment service. It is simple to get set up with and you do not have to use a credit card if you have a regular bank account. We will take pre-orders for future releases and there will be some products that will be available through this web site exclusively. HCM Reference source Our reference section is a wealth of detail information for modelers and researchers, Many of the photos and most of the information contained there has come from many sources including the National Archives, Marine Corps Historical Center, veterans personal collections, interviews with veterans, etc. Feel free to contribute any photos or information you may have and wish to share. HARD CORPS MODELS: David Harper, Bill Chilstrom, Gordon Stronach, Mike Armstrong, Terry Barrow and You.
